My English Country Chair is handcrafted and available in a number of style combinations. There are three kinds of chair: armchair, side chair and counter stool and I use three kinds of wood: oak, maple and birch.
The finishes are done to your specifications with either you supplying a sample or me providing one for your approval on the kind of wood you choose. The range of tint and effect for both painted and stained wood is almost limitless and between myself and the artist who does the hand painted design we can deliver the kind of look and feel that you need.
The rush seating is a feature of the chair that lends a great deal to the style of my chair and I devote a lot of care and attention to make a tightly woven seat that will last for generations but having said that I have also provided chairs to clients who prefer an upholstered seat.
